When you start marketing your services, you don’t know what type of specialty may
be your first client. You need to be able to handle any specialty that comes your
way. Later when you're up and running, you can choose to focus on specific specialties
if you prefer to do so. But when you are first starting, you need to be confident
that you can do billing for any specialty that hires you.
For example, unlike ClaimTek's software, many systems on the market cannot handle
both the CMS-1500 and the CMS-1450 insurance forms as well as billing for specialties
like Dental and DME (Durable Medical Equipment).
